Kediri Waterpark in Kediri Regency, East Java Province

It is true Kediri Regency is known for the highlands and traditional foods. However, tourists should explore all parts of the region for the best vacation experience. In Pogung Village at Semen Sub-District, for example, there is Kediri Waterpark! This place is indeed suitable to spend a family recreation and conduct fun things like playing water and swimming. This new vacation spot, in fact, becomes the biggest one in East Java Province! No wonder, the popularity keeps growing and more tourists keep coming regardless of where they come from. Both the facilities and nuance are satisfying, after all.

The Nuance
Now, let’s talk about the nuance. As mentioned before, the size is superb. What about the nuance? It is located in a peaceful area with many features like trees, luxurious housing, and highlands. No wonder, the atmosphere is nice and the environment is clean. The site has several ponds and water canals. Not to mention it comes with many water slides and excellent facilities. The most famous one is definitely the long waterslide that has the length of about 206 meters! Not to mention it resides on 360 meters above the sea level. Dare you to try it?

Exploring Kediri Waterpark
Before exploring Kediri Waterpark, tourists should consider learning the history as well. According to the keepers, the inauguration was in 2014 and it was closed for a while in 2016 due to a significant renovation. The site reopened in 2017 and turned into the biggest waterpark in East Java Province. Due to the wide size, it is able to accommodate lots of tourists for sure (even during weekends and holidays).

Once entering the site, tourists are allowed to try all facilities and swimming pools. For kids, though, they must choose the shallow pool. Thus, parents should supervise their kids well. For the information, a swimming pool that comes with the depth of only 20-60 cm is available there! This kiddy pond also features unique ornaments or statues, which are located by a waterslide. As an alternative, it is recommended to play in the water canal. Visitors can also rent a lifebuoy or float tires for a more comfortable experience. Have no worries. The rent fee is affordable.

The best thing to do in Kediri Waterpark is indeed to try the biggest waterslide. It even takes some time to reach the starting point up there. Despite the excellent safety, perhaps only adults are brave enough to try it. It is both long and tall, after all. What is next? After enjoying swimming and sliding, tourists should reach the canteen or eatery for buying foods and drinks. These come at a cheap price, as well, so don’t worry.
