Watu Lumbung Waterfall in Nganjuk Regency, East Java Province


Sawahan Sub-District in Nganjuk Regency has become the home of several beautiful waterfalls including the one called Watu Lumbung Waterfall. The exact location of this unique waterfall is in Bendolo Village and resides near to another stunning waterfall called Tetes Embun. Both of them are located on the slope of Wilis Mountain, in fact. How to Get There
Watu Lumbung is located in the same area as Tetes Embun Waterfall. Before heading to the site, though, everyone should reach Nganjuk Regency first. From Surabaya City, a trip to Nganjuk takes around 2 hours and 3 minutes. It is because the distance is 112 km. The first route to take is Surabaya – Mojokerto Highway. Next, it is recommended to take Mojokerto – Kertosono Highway and get to the downtown right away. After arriving at Nganjuk, the next destination is Bendolo Village at Sawahan Sub-District. The distance is 37.7 km, so the trip would take around 1 hour and 13 minutes. As for the best route, it is Sawahan – Berbek Street. From the village, it requires trekking to reach the waterfall as well.
